[20.06.2017] Fairy tales have to be gruesome!
From the declaration of love to murder, from the joy of life to the yearning for death - Schneewittchen are celebrating and dissecting the human desires and spiritual abysses like no others on stage. Marianne Iser and Thomas Duda polarize and confuse their audience with a melange between dark-erotic cabaret, melodious pop songs and scary and sinister ballads. Are you curious? We are too!
[13.06.2017] Synthies + Pop = DANCE!
Surprise! There will be double-action at the bh-Club this year: Machinista, the Swedish band around John Lindqwister (Cat Rapes Dog) and Richard Flow (Vision Talk), will bring you to operating temperature from the first minute with their smashing synthpop.
Who they are? They are rockets!
[23.05.2017] Visual art at Campus Noir VII!
"It's the fascination to bend reality by fantasy."
This is one of the favourite citations of Frank Melech and we are more than pleased that he will exhibit some of his fantastic, mysterious, real-surreal and black-romantic photo collages.
Frank Melech merges the absurd, the impossible, with the natural, ordinary objects or trivial sequences of everyday life. He blurs the borders between the real and the unreal - giant rocks begin to fly, whole worlds are placed into a small lightbulb. Nothing seems impossible. That's the way Frank Melech gives birth to entirely new worlds and beings never seen before, often merged from more than 50 single photographs.
If you are looking for more information about the wide range of Frank Melech's work, please have a look at www.melech.de
[21.05.2017] Neurosen blühen!
With their fifth album "Neurosen blühen" (neuroses bloom) the brute-apocalyptic spoken word project Oberer Totpunkt again puts its finger into the wounds of mankind close to the abyss. Be prepared for gloomy and morbid recitations, martial drumbeats and minimal electronics garnished with a solid portion of rock guitars. Welcome to Campus Noir, Oberer Totpunkt!
[21.03.2017] Pack your oldschool dancing shoes!
Der Himmel über Berlin make no bones about their attraction to middle- and western European sonority and atmosphere – and we don’t do so regarding our affinity to Italian Goth. ;)
Driving drums, thick bass lines, swirling guitars and the passionate vocals of singer Teeno are taking Fans of melodic Postpunk, flanger effect Gothrock guitars and traditional Darkwave on a gloomy danceable journey full of melancholy.
[22.02.2017] Ladies and Gentleman - Feel the beat!
This year the whole bh-Club will raise to the roof when none other than Dirk Ivens aka DIVE shows up on our little bandstand.
Absolute Body Control, The Klinik, DIVE, Sonar - without him the European electro scene wouldn't be what it is today.
His musical career started back in 1978 and since 27 years he's on the road as DIVE, too. He has proved as a recipe for maximum power on stage with a minimum of equipment. That's attested by fans from Tokyo to San Francisco!
[19.02.2017] 1919 – The madness is back!
After the cancellation of their appearance for Campus Noir VI last year, we are happy to announce that 1919 take part in this year's edition.
Stamping, danceable and forceful Postpunk with no frills – that is how 1919 from West Yorkshire entered the stages in 1980, and this way they came back three years ago. For Campus Noir VII they will bring their new album "Bloodlines", which is not only the second regular studio album 30 years after the first one, but also the legacy of founding guitarrist Mark Tighe, who sadly passed away.
[16.01.2017] Here comes the seventh Campus Noir!
In the dead of winter we are once more looking forward to the end of summer.
The date for Campus Noir VII is fixed now and we would be pleased if you would be all in on it again.
On 30.09.2017 the time has come for: Three clubs, three parties - one black campus!
Don't forget to mark September 30th in your calendar, apply for holidays and take care of your dancing shoes!
